Ilminster Forum launches photo competition

THE Ilminster Forum has launched a photo competition for amateur photographers in the town this week.

The competition has a theme of ‘Life in Ilminster and the surrounding area’ – and winning photos are set to feature on the group’s 2013 calendar.

While the theme is open to individual interpretation entries must be photographs taken within Ilminster and the surrounding parishes. The 12 winning photographs will feature inside the calendar and the photograph judged the best of the 12 chosen will be used on the front cover and receive a £50 cash prize.

The Ilminster Forum is a local regeneration group helping to improve the community by responding to local concerns largely through partnership with other public bodies and organisations.
