Tina Turner tribute coming to Playhouse Theatre

TINA Turner fans should get ready for simply the best performance as Totally Tina comes to the Playhouse Theatre in Weston next month.

Performed by Stars in Their Eyes 2002 finalist Justine Riddoch, the show will feature such hit tracks as River Deep, Mountain High, Nutbush City Limits, Private Dancer, What’s Love Got To Do With It and Simply The Best.

Audiences can expect exciting dance routines, hand-made dance costumes, a fantastic light show and a breathtaking impersonation of the lady herself.

Backed by a five piece band, Totally Tina is one of the UK’s most acclaimed tributes to Tina Turner.

The band was formed in March, 2008, when Justine had been working as a solo tribute to Anastacia since her appearance on Stars in Their Eyes.

She was invited to the biggest tribute festival in England, Glastonbudget, a festival for bands only.

With no band to work with, Justine scoured her home town of Liverpool for a well-established group to help her out, and was soon introduced to The Undertakers with Geoff (bass/ backing vocals), Jimmy (lead guitar/vocals), Corin (drums) and Simon (keyboards).

Totally Tina will be performed on Sunday, July 22, at 7.30pm, and tickets priced at £16.50 (£15 concessions) are available on 01934-645 544 and at www.theplayhouse.co.uk
