TAKE That’s Mark Owen and Eastenders’ actress Nicola Stapleton joined over 1500 festival-goers at Taunton School's Life Music Festival in support of charity Stand Against Violence (SAV).

Holidaying with their families in the area, both celebrities attended the music festival to hear a succession of superb acts including headline performer Glenn Tilbrook from Squeeze, The Bluetones lead singer Mark Morriss as well as popular local acts, Darren Hodge, The Unfaithful and The Fatigues.

The family event was organised by The Taunton Academy and SAV to raise funds for the expansion of the charity’s work in preventing youth violence through education.

A variety of music performances took place on an outside acoustic stage, and an indoor main stage at the Wellsprings Centre, while a wide selection of art and craft stalls, fairground rides, bouncy castle and face-painting activities kept all family members entertained between the acts.
