Time's almost up for creative writing comp entries
5:11pm Thursday 24th May 2012 in Somerset
THERE'S not much time left to enter the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre's Page is Printed creative writing competition, so hurry up and get those pens to paper! Now in its second year, the competition gives existing and would-be writers the chance to shine and win £275 in Waterstones vouchers.
Entries can be submitted in any style, such as poetry, prose, script, confession, love letter or short story.
The judges will only look at the power of words to move, inspire or change the world, the only rule being that each entry must fit on one side of A4 paper.
Entries must be received by May 29. Entry costs £4 for adults and is free for under-16s. This covers up to three submissions and includes free entry to The Page is Printed open mic night on Friday, June 29, at 7.30pm, when the prize winners will be announced.
To enter or download an application form, visit www.tacchi-morris.com Entries should be emailed to thepageisprinted@gmail.com
