ACTOR and author Ben Crystal will be holding a talk at Brendon Books in Taunton's Bath Place to launch the paperback version of his new book, Shakespeare on Toast.

Ben has been described at the “Jamie Oliver of Shakespeare” and will be covering facts about Shakespeare's language, examples of how Shakespeare would have sounded in his day along with some audience participation and performance.

Told in five Acts, Shakespeare On Toast reclaims Shakespeare's language, life and time and pulls him into the modern age - revealing the man and his work to be as relevant and accessible now, as he was during his own time.

Ben crystal is an actor who produced and performed in a revival of Simon Stephens' One Minute at the Courtyard Theatre.
