BRIDGWATER'S very own Young Musical Theatre Company is to perform a phenomenal adaptation of Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers.
One of the UK’s most well known theatrical pieces, the play won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical in 1983, and has been performed all over the world - including a two year stint on Broadway, with over 840 performances.
Blood brothers is the story of twins separated at birth whose lives continually clash until one fateful day
Directed by Cy Boddy, an experienced actor and award winning director, this incredible performance of Blood Brothers will ensure that there will not be a dry eye in the house. Focussing on the struggles of a single mother, the bond between two friends and the impact that superstition and class can have on how a person chooses to live their life.
With incredible acting from such a young cast, the YMTC’s production of Blood Brothers is sure to leave its audience marvelling at the wonderful talents of Bridgwater’s youth.
