PRINTS, drawing, mosaics and fabrics will feature in the summer exhibition from Bridgwater's Chandos Society of Artists.

The event is being held at the library in Taunton and most of the work, that covers the whole spectrum of styles and subjects, is available for sale.

The exhibition, which runs from June 20 to July 2 includes a free wine reception and meet the artists session on Wednesday 22 June between 5.00 – 7.30pm.

The society is also organising three painting days for beginners, dabblers and experienced artists to paint outdoors. The first is in Taunton on Saturday, June 25. There's no need to book, just turn up at the library to register (£5)

The next venues are Steart Marshes on Sunday, July 17, with the final day in Watchet on Saturday, August 13. The registration guarantees space to hang your pictures in the Come Outside Exhibition during September.

The Chandos Society of Artists was founded in 1961 to encourage the practice and appreciation of the visual arts for all artists throughout Somerset. The programme of events include exhibitions, lectures and social meetings and it's exhibitions are always well received and have delighted art lovers for over 50 years. New members are always welcome.
