GOOD, evil, a pet goose, the traditional panto dame and plenty of laughter, the time has come again for the Burnham and District Panto Society’s annual production – and this year it the show is billed as a great show for all the family.

Titled Mother Goose, the show promises to be as spectacular as the society’s previous forays onto the stage. It will tell the story of Gerty Goose, her two sons and a pet goose, Lucy.

She owes the squire rent and a fairy tries to help by casting a spell.

Her arch enemy, the Demon King, takes his chance to challenge Fairy Goosedown and casts his own spell.

The dress rehearsal took place on Sunday, January 10, with all actors in costume and raring to perform.

The performances are taking place on Friday, January 22, and Tuesday, January 26 - Saturday 30, all at 7pm.

There are also two matinee shows on Saturday, January 23 and Sunday 24 at 3pm.

Tickets cost £11, with concessions at £9 and children at £7.
