THE amazing Annie Moses Band is one of America’s biggest acts – and now you can catch them in Taunton.
As America’s premier classical-crossover string and vocal band, the group regularly sell out at Carnegie Hall and The Grand Ole Oprey with their mix of classical, jazz and blue grass.
The six members of one family have won numerous awards for their virtuosic string playing, eclectic vocals and stylistically diverse arrangements.
Their music includes classical, Americana, progressive folk, and jazz influences.
But its not just their skilful playing and incredible vocals that make them stand out. The AMB has been praised by critics for their electrifying stage presence as they blend a wide variety of instruments and styles.
Ben, who plays violin and also sings said: "We're thrilled to be playing in Taunton. We know Somerset has a rich musical history and we arej ust delighted to include the town on our first UK tour.|"
Although they’ve toured all over their native America, Australia and even North Korea, this is the band’s first ever UK tour – so definitely one not to be missed.
