Singer songwriter Charlie Dore and muti-instrumentalist Julian Littman of Steeleye Span star at the next Silver Street Sessions concert in Wiveliscombe.

They promise a night of eclectic, contemporary folk as the pair swap guitars, piano, mandolin, harmonium and & ukulele plus a fresh take on Charlie’s iconic hit Pilot of the Airwaves.

Charlie's songs have won two Ascap awards, an Ivor Novello nomination and numerous other awards.

Her own records clearly favour her folk-country roots, yet Charlie is one of a handful of UK writers to have success across many genres, defined by the range of artists to have covered her songs, including Tina Turner, George Harrison, Lisa Stansfield and Paul Carrack.

The date for your diary is Saturday October 10, 7.30pm at the Cotleigh Brewery in Ford Road.

Tickets £12/£10 concessions from Wiveliscombe Post Office or on the door. Website: www.silverstreetsessions.co.uk
