BRIDGWATER Arts Centre swings you back to the sixties with Britain’s number one tribute band The Counterfeit 60’s.
Re-live the sounds of this magic decade, as The Counterfeit 60’s brings alive the spirit of the decade, with their tribute to over 30 bands of that era.
The show encompasses everything from the clothes that were worn, to flashbacks from television history, including TV programmes, adverts and even clips from the original bands.
The Counterfeit Sixties was formed by four experienced musicians with the purpose of performing some of the greatest songs from the most creative period in pop music.
Each member of the group has a wealth of experience from playing in various combos, and working with some of the legends of the time.
As the band themselves grew up in the sixties, they are fully aware of the memories that can be evoked by a 60's show.
Expect to hear all the favourites from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Dave Clark Five, The Kinks and The Monkees to name just a few. It is undoubtedly the most comprehensive 60's show around today.
Bridgwater Arts Centre. Saturday October 17, 8pm. Tickets: £14.
