SNAPPA have one of the snappiest names in the music business.

They have also built up a reputation as one of the hardest working bands in the region. Since they formed in 2001, they've clocked up fifteen hundred gigs.

For their 1,501st gig, they will be playing at the Lighthouse Inn, Burnham from 9pm on Friday August 14.

Snappa have played for almost every type of event imaginable and have even performed for a certain Mr David Cameron PM and a singer called Robbie Williams who is a big fan.

As individual musicians they've had a great deal of experience including touring Europe and the United States with chart topping bands, session work, instrumental teaching, composing, producing.

The band has performed at world famous events and venues such as the Legendary Marquee Club, Glastonbury Festival, Twickenham Stadium and the Royal Albert Hall.

Matt from Snappa is looking forward to coming back to Burnham with the band to play some gigs: "We haven't been back in Burnham for a couple of years due to the amount of work we've taken on elsewhere in the country," he explained.

"It's been hard to squeeze in some gigs in our home town so we're really looking forward to playing at the Lighthouse Inn and what's even better, is its a free gig."
