Holyrood Academy performers stage The Wedding Singer
HOLYROOD Academy is staging The Wedding Singer as this year’s annual production.
Adapted from the 1998 film starring Adam Sandler, the musical tells the story of Robbie Hart, played by Tiago Martins, the lead singer in a wedding band who gets jilted at the altar on his own big day.
A cast of 50 students aged from 12–18 has been working hard in rehearsals to produce what the academy says will be one of the most comedic and cheesy shows Chard has ever seen.
Performances are on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, February 24, 25 and 26, and tickets are available from Holyrood Academy priced £5 adult and £3 concessions).
