TAUNTON’s favourite lass Laura Lexx is returning home this month as she hosts a night of comedy at The New Inn in Halse.
Having entertained audiences as a support act at Taunton Comedy Festival with Mark Watson earlier this year, the former Bishop Fox’s pupil is back and better than ever with fellow comics such as Rob Hughes and David Arnold.
The cheeky madam loves Somerset so much; she’s even heading back soon to get married to her fiancé.
Laura said: “I love Taunton; it’s such an awesome place and it has always been in my heart. I try to come back as often as I can.
“I love Somerset so much that I’m getting married her next year.
“I’d love to more comedy gigs in the area; it’s just a case of whether Taunton’s entertainment scene keeps growing. People need to get on it locally so it will work.”
