PACIFIC Curls, a trio from New Zealand, are playing two venues near Taunton.
With a backbeat of Pacific rhythms, vivacious fiddle playing and evocative native Maori instrumental playing and lyrics, Pacific Curls have seamlessly blended sounds from their indigenous roots with Celtic cultures.
The band are made up of Ora Barlow, Kim Halliday and Sarah Beattie and have been touring around the UK since August.
They are playing at Curry Mallet and Beercrocombe Village Hall this Saturday (October 25) at 8pm – tickets costing £8 are available on 01823-481441.
Pacific Curls are also performing at Langford Budville Jubilee Hall next Wednesday (October 29) at 7.30pm – tickets are £10 on 01823-400331.
