AWARD-WINNING comedian Richard Digance is supporting St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice with a one-man show at Taunton’s Brewhouse Theatre on Saturday, October 25.
A few tickets are still available for the evening, which includes a charity auction.
Taunton man Colin Robertson is organising the show in support of St Margaret’s trans-Atlantic Challenge, which sets sail today (Thursday).
He said: “We’re so grateful to Richard for backing this incredible sailing adventure in the best way possible by taking to the stage with his fantastic routine of comedy and songs.”
Colin, an experienced sailor, is joining one of the eight legs of the 88-day, 9,142 nautical mile round trip from Portsmouth to the Caribbean via St Malo and the Canaries.
There are 160 spaces on the eight legs of the journey which vary from seven to 26 days.
There are still a few places left for amateur and complete novices to anyone aged over 18 with no previous sailing experience necessary.
The show starts at 7.30pm, and tickets are on sale at Taunton Information Centre and the Brewhouse – call 01823-336344 or visit www.brewhouse theatre.ticketsource.co.uk
