PEOPLE who want to learn a new skill ready for when the winter nights draw in can attend a crochet class for beginners at a Taunton garden centre in October.
The Craft Centre at Monkton Elm Garden & Pet Centre, Monkton Heathfield, is hosting a six-week course of ‘Crochet for Complete Beginners’ with the first session taking place on October 3.
Julia Langley, Craft Centre supervisor, said: “People can register their interest now and classes will run for six consecutive weeks on Friday afternoons from 2pm until 4pm.
“Our expert staff will be starting from scratch and teaching attendees everything they need to know about the art of crochet.
“Crochet is a really rewarding craft to learn as the possibilities for what you can make are endless. It’s also extremely therapeutic.”
