Burnham Food and Drink Festival is in with a chance of being awarded a grant of up to £3,000 to help towards running the event – and they need your vote.
Lloyds Bank’s Community Fund project will help the festival continue to grow as a free to attend, volunteer-run event for all the community.
The festival is focused on the Burnham area and brings together the best food and drink produced in Somerset.
Visitors flock in for the large market, demonstrations, workshops, talks and competitions.
Beverley and Sarah Milner Simonds, festival organisers, said: “This funding will be invested into the growth of the festival, adding in more farming elements, free workshops and growing our support of new local businesses.
“The grant would make a huge difference to the food and drink festival by enabling us to add more children's activities, more workshops and to provide a fantastic, free day out to thousands of residents and visitors to Burnham-on-Sea.”
