A ONE-OFF Jedi training session – with light sabres – is among the big attractions at Weston Helicopter Museum’s forthcoming ‘Stars of Time’ movie and sci-fi weekend.
Set for Saturday and Sunday, July 26-27, the star-studded event will also see appearances from former Dr Who Colin Baker, Torchwood’s Kai Owen, Julian Glover (Game Of Thrones), Peter Wyngarde (Flash Gordon) and Angela Douglas of 'Carry On' fame.
Other celebrity guests include Ian McNeice, John Levene, Star Wars veterans Michael Culver and Kenneth Colley, Dr Who companion Nicola Bryant and Bond Girl Caroline Munro.
Costumed characters from Star Wars, Aliens, Dr Who and Star Trek will also be on the prowl, with sci-fi dancing and helicopter simulation flights also part of the offer.
Opening times are 10am to 5.30pm both days. Admission costs £10 for adults, £6.50 for OAPs/disabled individuals, £26 for two adults and two children, £29 for two adults and three children, or is free to under-4s.
The price includes entry to both the convention and the museum.
