AN ENGLISH folk-vocal trio who have performed together for almost a quarter of a century heads to the Milverton Music Rooms on Friday July 18.
An “exceptional” concert of humour, yarns, music with a political edge, and, of course, stunning acappella singing, is in store from Coope Boyes and Simpson.
The band; Barry, Jim and Lester – has released almost 20 CDs to their name, and is currently on tour with Flanders Fields, after a musical jaunt round the US.
They plan to mix the words and music of indestructible spirit in the face of human tragedy with their better-known material.
Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 and are selling fast: book by calling 01823-400416 or email milvertonmusic@f2s.com
