THE Space Company’s “unmissable” Broadway hit, ‘Sweet Charity’, hopes to draw in the punters to its run of shows at the Tacchi-Morris next week.
Hilarious, ambitious, and a whole lotta fun, the Taunton-based performing arts innovators have a production “full of laughter and surprises”, according to director David Duthie.
They’ll get us joining Charity as she takes the audience on a fun-filled journey of self-discovery, as the strong and quirky woman tries to break away from her dead-end job as a dance hall hostess.
She encounters all types of characters, including Daddy, his ‘Rhythm of Life Church’ and famous movie stars.
Go along to hear the usual suspects – Big Spender, Rhythm of Life and Sweet Charity – all sung alongside a full live band.
The Space Company’s performances are from Wednesday to Saturday (July 9-12), at 7.30pm with a matinee on Thursday at 2pm.
Tickets are £10/£8 concs/£5 students at tacchi-morris.com or on 01823-414141.
