A NEWLY-HATCHED Burnham band has resolved to make their mark in 2014.
Momentum, aka frontwoman Kim Beacham, rhythm guitarist Jason Jarrett, lead guitarist Duncan Parkes, bassist Chris Simpson and Tommo ‘Danger’ Maloney on drums, have been together just five months.
“We play the rockier side of indie,” says Jason, “from Skunk Anansi and No Doubt to Within Temptation and Halestorm.”
The group are having a free showcase gig at Highbridge Social Club’s Tyler Room on February 15, with support from Nick Elswood. Visit their Facebook page, Momentum UK for future dates.
