THE excellent, entertaining and enthusiastic actors of Burnham BEES are following the yellow brick road to the town’s Princess Theatre & Arts Centre this weekend with The Wizard of Oz.
Follow the famous characters – Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the cowardly Lion – on their trek to see the Wizard, peppered with the musical’s beloved hits, including Judy Garland’s oft-covered Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
Two performances of the musical are being staged at 7.30pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday.
Tickets for Burnham’s Excellent Entertainment Society’s seasonal performance cost £9/£6 with discounts available for advance bookings, Friends of the Princess and drama society members.
