ONE of the masterminds behind last year’s high-octane Olympic and Paralympic ceremonies shares his story this Sunday.
Olympics’ technical director Piers Shepperd was a creative 'tour de force' in the planning, organisation and choreography of the shows, which remained a firm secret.
From the helicopter for James Bond which saw ‘The Queen’ sky-dive into the stadium to the Olympic flame, Piers had a hand in it all.
The talk, at Dillington House, Ilminster, starts at 2.30pm and tickets at £12 includes tea and cake.
Book on 01460-258613.
