Colin Farrell likes 'boring' life

Colin Farrell has admitted that he has come to love his new clean-living and "boring" life.

The Irish star and father-of-two has turned his body into a temple after entering rehab in 2005 to help him deal with his drug addictions.

"One of the big things that I was drawn to about drugs was the ritual. I don't put the same level of energy into healthy living as I did into unhealthy living," he told Men's Health.

Colin, who next stars in the Total Recall remake alongside Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale, added: "But I eat really well, drink loads of green tea, and take a s*** load of vitamins. It's so f****** boring. I had burned so many bridges in the film industry that I couldn't get a f****** meeting. But now I'm just enjoying life."

The 36-year-old credited his two sons - James, nine, and two-year-old Henry, from different relationships - for helping him turn his life around.

"When I'm not working, I see them a lot. Life has mutated to take on this sweet simplicity that I am really f****** OK with," he said.
