A STUNNING homage to the golden age of pop promises a dose of feelgood factor guaranteed to keep music fans feeling warm and sunny well into the winter.

Now in it’s ninth year of touring, the Supersonic 70s Show is still the hottest ticket in town and is set to return stomping to the Rhyl Pavilion stage on the last day of August.

Led by vocalist Janey Bombshell, alias the ‘Catsuit Wonder Girl’, this all-live band delivers a power-packed spectacle with all those incredible hits from perhaps the greatest musical decade of them all, the1970s.

Strutting to the stage with incredible charisma and the complete collection of dance moves, Ms Bombshell and her five fellow ‘70s revivalists promise to wow the audience with their dizzying vocal range and incredible musicianship – giving all the hits from the decade the treatment they deserve.

With a set list boasting an impressive range to suit all ages, expect plenty of iconic tunes to bust out the Saturday Night Fever moves to, including cherished hits from The Carpenters, 10cc, The Osmonds, David Cassidy, Elton John and, obviously, Abba.

For the rock aficionados there is the towering might of Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Suzi Quatro and the Electric Light Orchestra, which will sit alongside the swaggering sounds of Sweet, T Rex and Mud.

And don’t be surprised if some air guitars get dusted off in the aisles.

To complete the stardust journey down memory lane, the Supersonic 70s Show will include songs from Grease and a few winning numbers from the Eurovision Song Contest of that era, all played to exquisite precision.

So bring a strong pair of lungs and maybe even don a pair of the widest and grooviest flares for a glorious rollercoaster ride of nostalgia and great music.

The Supersonic 70s Show comes to the Pavilion Theatre, Rhyl on Friday, August 31 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced £20, with concessions available, by calling the Pavilion box office on 01745 330000 or going online at rhylpavilion.co.uk
