Mid Devon Show comes to Tiverton next month

IT’S almost that time again – the 19th Mid Devon Show will soon be upon us.

The event will see a host of non-stop activity come to Hartnoll Farm in Tiverton from 9am until 5.30pm on Saturday, July 8 in aid of Mid Devon Town and Country Show Society.

The main ring will feature a vintage farm machinery parade, YFC competition, musical ride, pony club games, Jonathan Marshall falconry, private driving and heavy horses, grand parade, and a parade of hounds.

In the music and dance pavilion, visitors will find the Tiverton Town band, Miranda Maryan, Lane and the Silverstones, Mr Showers, and Barrauda.

Stroll over to the countryside arena to see Terry Moule and his racing ferrets, a working gun dog display, sheep dog display, and a fly casting and beach casting display.

Visitors will also find carousels, a bouncy castle, archers and trade stands.

A crèche is available for young children.

Tickets cost £12.80 for adults, £11.80 for senior citizens and £4.80 for children if bought online in advance.

They will also be available on the gate priced £13 for adults, £12 for senior citizens and £5 for children.
