Falmouth Week builds to a big Weekend finish

MAKE sure you don’t miss the biggest party of the year this weekend when the town comes together to celebrate the end of Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week 2012.

On Friday evening, the traditional 80s vs 90s night will take place in Event Square, featuring both Chesney Hawkes and the Artful Dodger. The event will culminate with a spectacular firework display over the harbour at 10pm – although the display may be postponed until Saturday if the weather is not good.

Then, on Saturday night, the theme will be sun and sand as the traditional Caribbean Night comes to town once more.

Featuring music by Legend – who will be playing the greatest hits of reggae’s biggest star Bob Marley, the evening see party-goers adopting fancy-dress for a spectacular end to the week-long festivities.

There will also be events at The Moor throughout both days, including music on both evenings.

The marquee will host one final event on Sunday, when Falmouth-based comedian the Kernow King hosts an evening of entertainment.
