After wowing audiences at this year's Edinburgh Fringe, Scruffy Mutt Theatre’s adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Red Shoes is coming home the Poly Theatre in Falmouth on Sunday, December 16.

Director and choreographer Jade Fiori said: "As nerve wracking as it was playing to strangers at the other end of the country, performing to familiar faces at your local theatre is even more daunting!”

Fusing contemporary dance with physical theatre, the spectacular show offers a modern twist on the classic fairy tale, telling the story of an ambitious young dancer that is corrupted by a pair of magical red shoes.

Writer and director Filippo Fiori said: “Our production features amazing dance routines, while also functioning as a biting cautionary tale that will appeal to both new and old fans alike.”
