Multi award-winning choreographer Katie Green has chosen Carnglaze Caverns near Liskeard for performances of her atmospheric new dance piece.

Beneath Our Feet is performed by three dancers with live music from singer/songwriter Lou Vilstrup of Dear Joy.

Created in collaboration with a group of archaeologists, geologists, historians, cavers and former miners, the piece tells the story of the former slate mine using movement, music, story-telling and light.

Choreographer Katie Green says: “It will truly be a one-of-a-kind event that tells the story of Carnglaze Caverns in a brand new way.”

The performances will take place on October 26 and 27 at 5pm, 6.15pm and 7.30pm.
