Husband and wife folk duo Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman will play at The Poly on May 4 to support their latest album.
The two have been performing together for over two decades and have won the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards’ Best Duo on two separate occasions.
Their material which from the bitter to the sweet, the wry to the sad, the political to the passive, across folk, rock, country and blues genres.
After a break to have their twin girls the former Equation band members returned with two acclaimed albums - Hidden People, and Tomorrow Will Follow Today.
The 2012 release included their outstanding song about the South Yorkshire miners’ strike The Ballad of Andy Jacobs.
Their Falmouth performance is part of a 24 date nationwide tour.
