Coming to the Guildhall to St Ives next weekend are explosive new rock band All Gods Fall.

Formed by Mickey Ripley, with his throat-wrenching vocals, the band is driven by the Nick Clarke with his rip-roaring guitar, and the twin-engine rhythm section of Josh Ross on bass and Harley Harper on drums.

They are launching their debut EP, ‘Ascension’ with a rock-fuelled night, supported by the mighty Sinpusher and the excellent Heavy Souls.

Lead singer Mickey is no stranger to the rock scene. In the late 80s/early 90s he was fronting the much-loved Red Dogs together with his partner in crime, Paul Guerin (now of Quireboys/Joe Elliott’s Down ‘n’ Outz).

His voice has been likened by Jerry Ewing (Classic Rock) to “a cross between Brian Johnson and Bruce Springsteen” and Metal Hammer’s Mark Day had this to say, “frontman, Mickey Ripley’s got a huge voice and a huge personality”.

This new band are a one like no other. In a world possibly lacking the classic sound of the giants of the past, they are a breath of fresh air with their dynamic, authoritative songs and powerful lyrics that pack a punch to the very soul.

The songs are such that you’ll soon be belting them out at the top of your voice and feeling as if you’ve always known them!

The band play The Guildhall, Street-an-Pol, St Ives, TR26 2NE on Saturday 24 February from 7pm. Tickets are £5 on the door; £4 in advance from Echo Beach on The Warren, St Ives, TR26 2EA.
