There's an eccentric emperor who loves clothes more than anything in the world, and he's coming to Truro on Saturday.

Despite having a wardrobe the size of Paris the emperor hasn’t got a stitch to wear for his birthday, and a new outfit

must be found.

Populated with puppets, music and song, the inventive and energetic production of the Emperor's New Clothes is fun for all the family, told in true Stuff and Nonsense style.

Following their sell-out shows Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Elves and The Shoemaker, The Enormous Turnip and The Little Red Hen, the dazzling Stuff and Nonsense theatre company return to Hall For Cornwall on November 4 with this romp through a classic tale.

When two 'designers' come to town with a promise to create him an outfit that's 'never been seen before,' the eccentric emperor doesn't quite realise the spectacle he is about to make.

This new adaptation of the well-known tale, written and directed by Niki McCretton, is a brilliant mix of ingenious puppetry, music and mischievous moments for everyone in the family aged three and a lot older.

The Emperor's New Clothes is at the Hall For Cornwall on Saturday, November 4, at 2pm and 4pm, and tickets are available from hallforcornwall.co.uk or by calling 01872 262466.
