Tickets are on sale now for "the fairy Godmother of all pantomimes" which will be staged by RAMPS at the Regal Theatre in Redruth in January.

This year's panto will be Cinderella and as well as RAMPS' own members, the production will include dancers from the Bev-Lyn School of Dancing. Their principal, Melissa Glover, choreographs the show which is directed by Paul Blaber and features a live band under the direction of Jack Callow.

Rehearsals are already underway with award winning singer Bethany Lyne in the title role. Beth works as the development manager for Kneehigh Theatre and although this will be her first role with RAMPS she is an experienced performer who most recently played Ado Annie with Helston Theatre Company.

Audiences will witness Cinderella's breathtaking transformation from bullied stepsister to beloved Princess and will be encouraged to boo the Ugly Sisters who are played by RAMPS regulars, Damon Taylor and Robert Mitchell, who will look marvellous in their sensational costumes.

Comedy will be provided by Andy Christophers as Baron Hardup and Gareth Harris as Buttons, who tries to assist the Fairy Godmother, Helen Kemp, in her mission to make Cinderella's dreams come true. You know there’ll be a happy ending but it will be a magical journey, so why not get a ticket and be a part of it.

Tickets are available in person from the Regal Theatre in Redruth; by calling 01209 216278 or online at merlincinemas.co.uk/regal-theatre.
