The local Penryn Community choir Suitcase Singers are set to sing as part of the Trebah Live Music Festival at the end of the month, which will raise money for Salam LADC and the Truro Child Development Centre.
The Suitcase Singers, a local Penryn acapella community choir led by Claire Ingleheart, are renowned for their diversity in their music choice, and their ability to bring uplifting songs to their audiences. They sing tunes from around the world - local songs, traditional, modern, old and original compositions.
The choir members sing weekly at The Zed Shed, Penryn and are looking forward once again singing in the beautiful atmospheric Trebah Gardens as part of the Trebah Live Music Festival. "Acapella in the garden, ringing through the valley, an evening not to be missed," said Mandy Rolleston.
The Suitcase Singers will perform in Trebah Garden's amphitheatre from 7pm on Wednesday, May 31 - gardens open at 6pm. Those attending are invited to bring their own picnic and blankets.
