To celebrate the release of their brand new album, The Year of the Clown, Cornwall-based festival favourites 3 Daft Monkeys are planning an extravagant night of fun, frolics, circus, prizes and dancing at the Princess Pavilions, on Saturday, April 29.

Their special guests will include stunning and evocative music from The People’s String Foundation, and rabble-rousing local circus and music collective The Roustabouts. In between the acts there will be entertainment from walkabout circus performers, and epic electro-swing beats from DJ Karmaloji.

3 Daft Monkeys will be performing vibrant and sparkling songs from the new album, along with some of their classic audience favourites. The band will be joined onstage by a plethora of special guest musicians, including brass and string sections, to create a night to remember.

With Celtic and eastern influences, the 3 Daft Monkeys’ style of world folk music reflects the global village in which we now live. Their infectious dancing rhythms lead you through a musical journey of the senses and emotions, and will leave you breathless, enthralled and exhilarated.

Now with a four-piece line-up, the band are taking their famously dynamic live show to "new danceable dizzy heights." After experiencing the band’s notoriously energetic live performance at Glastonbury, Mark Radcliffe declared them as one of his “highlights of the festival” on BBC TV, and subsequently invited them to play a session on his BBC Radio 2 Folk Show.

Advance tickets for their show at the Princess Pavilion are £9 or £11 on the door and are available from the box office on 01326 211222 or online at princesspavilion.co.uk or SeeTickets.com.
