Local singer and vocal coach Janice M is taking music into the wild this summer with a series of workshops in Cornwall.

Janice M’s Wild Singing Workshops are set to bring harmony, connection, fun and positivity to Trebah Garden and Enys Gardens and Port Eliot Festival.

The workshops are set in stunning, outdoor locations amongst the inspiring and ever-changing acoustics of nature, giving a unique and immersive experience. Simple melodies and harmonies of beautiful songs are taught with fun and engaging vocal warm-ups included, helping participants to find their voice in a friendly group atmosphere.

Some workshops are just for adults, some are for families and some include a cream tea, and they are open to singers of all abilities, including complete beginners.

Born in Cumbria and residing in Cornwall for the last ten years, Janice M has performed everything from jazz to soul, folk to gospel, and is known to many through her group The Grace Notes.

She said: “I can’t wait to bring these special opportunities to Cornwall. Singing as a group and spending time in nature boosts our health and well-being and my workshops encompass all of these elements. They are about singing to feel good, helping people to sing in a simple, fun way whilst enjoying the natural wild wonders of our beautiful county.”
