Shappi Khorsandi is back on the road with her new show Oh My Country! From Morris Dancing To Morrissey and is bringing it to Cornwall for one night only next month when she appears at The Regal Theatre in Redruth.

Shappi is celebrating the fortieth anniversary of her arrival in Britain and is reclaiming patriotism, sending a love letter to her adopted land.

Following a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and autumn UK tour, star of Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News for You and QI, Shappi is reconnecting with live audiences.

She has "whip-crack jokes" and is "effortlessly funny" as she handles every subject with a razor sharp wit, softened only by her deliciously mischievous delivery and endless charm.

Shappi is the best-selling author of A Beginners Guide to Acting English, released in 2009, and her debut novel Nina Is Not OK was published last July to much critical acclaim.

She also had the honour of being nominated at the prestigious British Comedy Awards in the best female comic category up against fellow nominee’s Jo Brand and Sarah Millican, and has also appeared as a panellist on ITV's Loose Women and BBC One’s Question Time.

Shappi will be at the Regal in Redruth on Sunday, March 5. For more information go to or call 01209 216278.
