Three Milestone Amateur Dramatic Society will be presenting a play called Emporium for three nights over September.
Presented in Threemilestone Community Centre from Thursday, September, 3 until Saturday, September 5 this play is set in a shop managed by a Mrs Dressoir, though, since Mrs Dressoir likes to dress things up a little, she has her shop referred to as an Emporium.
Many come in and out of the Emporium; Mrs Dressoir has her regular unsatisfied customers Mrs Payne and Mrs Smithers, the local policeman Mr Bromley pays a few visits and with him into the shop follows some romance, and there is Michelle, Mrs Dressoirs daughter, who blossoms throughout the play.
Written by Bob Tucker, this play has a very witty script and paints a humorous social portrait.
Pat Hope, who plays Mrs Dressoir said: “I am really pleased with how it has turned out and I know the director is very pleased with how it has come together also.”
Tickets are available on the door or by calling Barbara 01872 273555.
