ALASKA, a desolate wasteland at the borderline of |civilization… A place where you can easily lose your way, your bearings and your very mind!

But this Saturday, April 25, one man goes in search of adventure, freedom and “a piece of the good life”, but soon finds that the reality is no picnic.

Plummeting temperatures, technical disasters (and a severe lack of any practical skills) soon plunge our hero into a nightmarish world of extreme survival, haunted by all things living, dead and Athabaskan.

The Poly in Falmouth play’s host to Blackfish Theatre’s acclaimed show Alaska. Performed by the masterful trio of Giles King, Craig Johnson and Ian Ross (Kneehigh Theatre) the group use film, firelight, live music and a whole host of forest wildlife to cleverly transport you into the unknown in a tragi-comic riot of Pythonesque dottiness guaranteed to leave you spellbound.

Blackfish returns for a second tour with their sell-out |original comedy written by Carl Grose (Soho Theatre, BBC TV and Radio, Kneehigh, RSC, National Theatre and |o-region) and directed by Simon Harvey (Kneehigh, Cscape Dance, O-Region and Theatre Damfino).

Alaska comes to the Poly on April 25, tickets are £10 / £8 (plus £1 Poly Fund), the performance starts at 7.30pm.
