JASON Donovan is coming to the Brewhouse Theatre in Taunton in the autumn.

Tickets for this highly anticipated show will go on sale at 10am on Friday, March 24.

The new show is called Jason Donovan and his Amazing Midlife Crisis Tour.

This is your chance to join Jason in conversation as he shares moments from the last four decades that he wasn’t able to tell us about on daytime television.

Jason has many guises – star of stage and screen, radio DJ, actor, performer, friend, father, husband, brother, son and confirmed National Treasure. Here he tells us about the highlights and challenges, the opportunities and obstacles of being all those things with a few of the songs we all love thrown in for good measure.

This autobiographical show will take Jason’s looming 50th birthday as its starting point and will zigzag back and forth through his life.

Hear some new stories (and possibly one or two you’ve heard before) plus some of the songs you know and love for a night like no other.

Jason Donovan achieved fame in the Australian soap Neighbours, before beginning a career in music in 1988.

In the UK he has sold over 3 million records, and his début album Ten Good Reasons was one of the highest-selling albums of 1989, with UK sales of over 1.5 million copies.

He has also appeared in several stage musicals, most prominently in the lead role of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in the early 1990s.

He has also appeared as Dr Frank N Furter in The Rocky Horror Show, in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and in Sweeney Todd.

Jason also appeared in a new version of Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds, this time playing Parson Nathaniel.

Donovan took part in I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2006 and finished in third place.

Tickets for the show in Taunton on November 28, will cost £25.

These will be on sale tomorrow, Friday, March 24, online at thebrewhouse.net or by calling the box office on 01823 283244.
