Itinerary
Day One
We leave the local area this morning and journey to our hotel, arriving in good time for you to rest and relax, or perhaps make use of the hotel's leisure facilities, before dinner.
Day Two
After a full English breakfast, we journey to the delightful stone villages and market towns of the southern Cotswolds. We'll stop in Moreton-in-Marsh, famed for its popular Tuesday market, before continuing to ancient Stow-on-the-Wold. Our final stop is in Bourton-on-the Water, the 'Venice of the North', with its attractive low bridges across the River Windrush.
Day Three
Today we head to Warwick. Visit the magnificent, medieval castle with its state rooms, dungeon and ghost tower, discover the fine timber-framed buildings of the Lord Leycester Hospital, or explore the town's many parks and gardens (all entrance fees payable locally). We'll continue to charming Stratford-upon-Avon, where you can enjoy a tranquil riverside walk or visit the famous bard's birthplace.
Day Four
We travel through the Vale of Evesham today to Broadway, the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds'. Wander along one of the longest high streets in England before we continue, through Toddington, to Winchcombe. Discover this ancient Saxon town's inns and tea rooms, and explore the shops and promenades of the elegant spa town of Cheltenham - our final stop.
Day Five
Today we head for home, arriving back in the local area by early to mid evening.
