Lions welcome visit from Croydon pack

BURNHAM Lions welcomed their counterparts from Croydon with a special skittles social event.
Ten members of Croydon Lions Club travelled to Burnham for a sponsored walk in aid of the Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied charity.
They walked the length of the Taunton to Bridgwater canal, then the Tiverton canal, before attending a dinner at the Oak Tree Arena in Highbridge.
The two Lions groups swapped banners at the event and Burnham president Andrew Bryant presented the visiting club with a cheque for £100.
