A HIGHBRIDGE fitness enthusiast will be strapping on her running shoes to compete in the London Marathon for the 11th consecutive time this April.
Sara Marsh, a staff member from King Alfred Sports Centre in Highbridge, will complete the gruelling 26-mile stretch for the charity Visually Impaired Children Taking Action (VICTA).
The gym worker, who leads exercise and toddler sessions at the sports centre, is looking for sponsorship before she takes part in the road race on Sunday, April 13.
Graham Furze, duty manager at King Alfred Sports Centre, told the Weekly News: "Sara has been a regular fixture in our fitness studio and workout classes over the passed few months and has shown a real passion and commitment to the cause, attending nearly all of our 15 weekly classes."
If you are able to sponsor Sara in her charity run, call 01278-786868.
